Bang Bang Salsa is a Salsa school in Sydney’s Northern Beaches dedicated to the creation and development of communities who love to dance. Our classes combine traditional Salsa with movement ideas from Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and expressive free dance. Our classes, parties and events give you the confidence and opportunity to dance on your own or with other people in a free and spirited way.
The Level 1 class teaches the basic Salsa steps, the skills of leading and following and introduces you to the glorious music of Africa and Latin America. The Level 2 class develops your ability to move in time and teaches you a collection of Salsa moves that can be combined in a multitude of ways. The Level 3 class introduces more moves and explores the art of dancing together at a deeper level.
It's a brilliant thing to do. Balance, body awareness, confidence and your non-verbal communication skills all develop along with your ability to dance .
There is a great deal of laughter each Thursday night. We seek a safe, supportive atmosphere that makes it easy to learn.

Bang Bang Salsa can provide performances and a world music DJ service for parties, community events or corporate functions. Private lessons are available by appointment.

Our next Salsa party will be held on Saturday the 14th of August at Avalon Bowling Club. We're doing a beginners lesson at 7.00pm. Dancing continues after 8.00pm. Hope you can make it!
