ABOUT DAVID
I originally trained as an actor and voice teacher. My work in these areas led me to the Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais Method. I qualified as an Alexander Teacher in 1986 and a Feldenkrais Practitioner in 1990. I became a Feldenkrais Assistant Trainer in 1997.
In 2020 I began a re-recording project that resulted in the body of lessons you’ll find on this site. That process is ongoing and related to the online lessons I run twice a week.
Along with running a private practice, I have run workshops and classes for the public, corporations, orchestras, theatre schools and various associations, I've been a member of the Training Accreditation Board for the Feldenkrais Guild and the Alexander Technique Training Course Board for AUSTAT. I’m a member of the Acapella group 'Murmuration'. I was trained in Salsa and Samba by Maestro Jose Prates in 1999. In 2000 we established 'Bang Bang Salsa' - a dance school in Sydney's Northern Beaches which ran for fifteen years. I still live and work in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
